Your Teacher
Sakina Di Pace BSc(Hons) Lic Ac.
I’ve been practicing acupuncture, facial cupping and acupressure for the past 12 years, both in the UK and in the US. I started using facial cupping and acupressure, in addition to my needles, to help alleviate the pain of some patients with nerve conditions such as peripheral neuropathy, and to stimulate muscle strength in paralysis cases such as Bell’s Palsy.
Realising how beneficial these two techniques were to my patients, I decided to incorporate them into my Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments. If it could stimulate paralysed facial muscles, I knew that Facial Cupping and Acupressure could work in helping to improve facial tone in my cosmetic patients.
Adding Facial Cupping and Acupressure to my traditional acupuncture treatments had an instance positive effect on all my patients. They just loved it! I kept using my Facial Cupping and Acupressure techniques with my patients until 2020 lockdown arrived, where I unfortunately couldn’t see my patients face-to-face anymore.
As a result, I had the idea to share my expertise and knowledge online. What could be more beneficial to my patients that being able to do the treatment by themselves in the comfort of their own home? That is how the idea of The Facial Cupping Expert was created.
I now teach Facial Cupping worldwide, to beginners and professionals. I’ve been interviewed by the NBC, POOSH, SHEERLUX, Les Nouvelles Esthétiques, URBAN SWEAT and the HUFFPOST.
Since the launch of my Facial Cupping Courses, I had many inquiries asking me to create a course about cosmetic acupuncture. Even though it’s something I might do in the future, I decided to focus on acupressure instead as it would be available for everyone and not just to acupuncturist.
The beauty of acupressure is that you can do it anywhere, at any time. All what you need is your hands!
